What to include

To get the fastest and most useful reply:

  • Which guide you were reading (the URL or page title)
  • What you tried and what happened
  • What you expected to happen
  • Your OS and its version (Windows 11 24H2, macOS 14.4, etc.)
  • Screenshots if an error message is involved — they save a lot of back-and-forth

What we can’t help with

We love tech support, but a few things are outside what we can reasonably help with by email:

  • Password recovery for ZIP files you received. We cannot crack or bypass encryption — that’s the whole point of it. Contact the file’s sender.
  • Custom software development or consulting.
  • Emergency data recovery from physically damaged drives. See a specialist service.
